The weatherproofing treatment is applied to the wood used for the panels in an autoclave (deep impregnation), once the different parts of the panel have been drilled and shaped.
BAUNTS manufactures reflective or absorbent modular panels, depending on whether they include absorbent material or not, and as required by the technical specifications of the project.
The absorbent panels consist of a wooden housing containing sheets of mineral wool and a protective mesh with semi-circular wooden sections in different positions (vertical, inclined, chessboard, etc) to obtain different decorative combinations.
Material features:
Naturally dried Nordic pine wood impregnated with salts (except arsenic and chrome) in high-pressure autoclaves as per the DIN 68800 standard, part III, and in full compliance with the Bethell UNE 8859 standard, stained with chestnut finish.
Acoustic features:
• DLa acoustic absorption index: 13 dB.
• Classification as per the UNE-EN 1793-1 standard, category A4.
The modular panels slot easily into the vertical frames made of HE or tubular profiles until reaching the required height, which will vary depending on the necessary acoustic absorption, acoustic insulation and mechanic resistance.
